It’s been a while since the last edition of ‘In case you missed it,’ my weekly round-up of the major travel news from around the internet.

This week saw a shocking result in the United Kingdom general election affecting the strength of the Great British pound, the severing of political ties to Qatar by several Middle Eastern countries impacting their national airline, and a man whose bags were lost on two occasions by WOW Air receive a car part from the carrier by mistake.
